Home Seasonal Decor

I love summer - the hot weather, the sun and the long hours.  Oh, but sooner or later, fall rolls around.  I confess I dread it - so if I have to be in it, it has to look pretty!!  Now there are somethings I love about the fall season -  the warmth of a well decorated home reflecting the season; warm apple cider and simmering pot of homemade soup.

Divine Interiors spent an afternoon "warming" this otherwise very well decorated and inviting home. The owners wanted to welcome the season with the decor that is inviting, warm and still reflective of their lifestyle.

The side board didn't require much but the two substantial vases with dried branches to balance the large artwork.  Yes, sometimes, less is absolutely more.

The table setting is minimal as we lent the stage to the centerpiece that draws the eye up to the chandy that's also dressed for the season.

The tablescape respects the homeowners' decor but simply enhances it with three textures and prints of napkins neatly held together by a napkin holder that introduces the "bead" detail.

The counter top in a nearby kitchen in this open floor plan has just the touch of the season - still leaving  space for function.
